Affiliate Website Credibility: The Personal Edge

In the last post I spoke about Talking Like An Expert. It’s an important part of Internet Marketing and vital when marketing an affiliate program. Here are a few more points to think about:

Think back to when you were first introduced to the wealth creation affiliate program. Think back to the pages and pages of my information that you’ve read. Now think about what made you trust me and join our affiliate program.

• Did you join because I was a faceless money-making machine that knew how to ruthlessly play the stock market?
• Did you join because I made huge promises of getting rich quick with no money down and no effort?
• Did you join because I was the cheapest affiliate program going?

Or

• Did you join because our program showed you promise, and I told you how regular guys and girls like us can succeed?

I know you didn’t join for any of those first reasons, because I just didn’t do any of those things; I never would—they’re not the truth!

Time after time, the people who choose our affiliate program over others are the people who saw something different in how we do business here. The people who saw that ours wasn’t a site full of hype and promise, without any real meat to it. People believe in our affiliate program because we put a personal face on our wealth creation affiliate programs, and we prove that success is possible.

Establish Credibility On Your Website

If you can agree with that, and if you’re still here I’m thinking that you can, learn from that example as you work to establish the credibility of your affiliate website. Yes, everyone wants to be seen as a professional—and you should—but refrain from being too professional; resist the temptation to remain anonymous and closed off to your visitors.

When you are open and honest, it shows. Your affiliate website visitors will come to trust you as a person that they can relate with, a person just like them who faced the never ending financial struggle that is life for the majority of the people out there. And a person who moved above all of that to create a better life for him- or herself through wealth creation programs.

So be the inspiration that you should be; you’ve earned the right, but more importantly, you owe it to your visitors, to clients and buyers that come to spend their hard-earned money through your affiliate website. When you open up a little, you’ll see your credibility—and sales—build and build.

    Words of wisdom. Establishing rapport with your visitors and clients is important. I can honestly say that I have had successes along the way and there are many more to come. A whole new world opened up for me when I joined the program and it has been a great experience thus far. Thanks Sean for offering something worth while :)
