Build Your Biography

1257.jpgIf you haven’t yet taken the time to build your profile for your wealth creation affiliate website, you should put that on the top of your list. A profile is easy to construct and takes just a few minutes, but can greatly increase your visibility and outreach.

What’s A Profile?

Profiles are pretty basic. They are really just short biographies that tell a little about you. Your basic affiliate website profile should include:

• Who you are

• What you do

• An interesting or unique personal tidbit

• A link to your affiliate website (if used on other forums, etc.) and Contact information

You don’t have to reveal your deep, dark life secrets, but you also shouldn’t look like a computer-generated apparition.

On your affiliate website, your profile should be longer and give more details about yourself, your successes with wealth creation, and the interest that has led you to become a wealth creation affiliate.

Profiles for forums and blogs are generally kept shorter.

Where To Use Your Profile

Your affiliate website should most definitely have a short biography page that tells your clients a little something about you. On your website, this should be placed on a separate page so that it is available to those who have an interest, but does not cloud the information that you are trying to give outright (in other words, your profile shouldn’t detract from your main goal of selling wealth creation products).

Profiles? Why Bother?

There are two reasons why profiles are important to affiliate programs:

1. Profiles let clients learn more about you, thereby establishing credibility and rapport

2. Profiles are an opportunity to share affiliate website links, thereby drawing in potential clients

Anonymity is not preferable for affiliate website owners. When clients cannot learn about the person behind the product, they will often assume your affiliate website is nothing more than another advertisement. Make it personal, and show that there is a real person backing up your products.

Forum and blog profiles are great because they are usually pursued by people who are already interested in what you’ve been saying. People click on your profile in hopes of learning more and in hopes of getting in touch with you/your affiliate program/your product. In this case, your profile is another means to your end: getting people to your affiliate website!

Don’t discount the power of a short profile. Use this short and sweet biography to connect with interested parties all over the web!
