More Affiliate Website Marketing Traditions

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

Care to talk a bit more about using inexpensive traditional marketing avenues to bring traffic to your wealth creation affiliate website? Today let’s talk about flyers and brochures.

Marketing Flyers And Brochures—The Good Stuff

Brochures and flyers are a great way to market an affiliate website. They have all the best elements of a successful off-line marketing tool. Flyers and brochures are:

• Portable

• Informative

• Capable of reaching offline clients and clients who haven’t thought to search for wealth creation products—they’re visible!

A short, informative brochure about your wealth creation affiliate website can put the essential program information in the hands of people around you so that you can start conversations and get them to your affiliate program site.

Simplicity In The Making

Okay, so you’re sold on the idea, but maybe you’re one who hasn’t a lot of technical expertise. You’re no graphic designer, so how can you make an effective affiliate program brochure?

Very simply, really. All you need is a basic working knowledge of your word processing program.

Word processing programs usually have templates that can be used to create brochures such as what we’re talking about here, but even if yours doesn’t, you can still create a nice brochure to market your affiliate program by using a simple copy and paste feature.

Remember the rights we gave you to your site and our online tools and resources? Exercise those rights and put your website to work for you. Even a screen shot of your website, or a print off with your contact information and web address will serve.

The most important thing to remember is to include the critical information—you don’t want to be the vague sense of an idea that prompts your potential affiliate website visitors to search, you want to be the go-to guy (or girl). Make sure that the following information is included on your brochure:

• Your affiliate website address—this is the most important! Your site will do the rest if you can get people there!

• Your website/program name

• Your contact information (whatever information you choose to divulge). This should match what is on your website.

It’s a simple thing and a small thing, but a nicely done, visibly displayed promotional brochure or flyer could really help you sell your wealth creation affiliate program offline and bring in more traffic that we all might have missed.

Do I Repeat Myself?

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Do I repeat myself on this wealth creation affiliate blog? I hope that I do–at least for the important stuff—because in affiliate marketing, repetition is a good thing. And you should be doing it too!

A Message Worth Repeating

The message we are spreading through our wealth creation affiliate program is worth repeating—get the financial education you need, work less for more money, live the life you want to live! A message that good should be repeated again and again.

Marketing is all about repeating your message. It does not always have to sound the same, although on occasion that’s okay too. Marketing is a matter of repeating and recreating your marketing material in a way that touches lives. That repetition will be central to your success as a wealth creation affiliate.

Repeating your message in new and varied ways helps to drive your message home. It serves as a polite reminder to your clients that helps them keep their focus on the matter at hand. Repetition also serves as proof to some extent—if people hear and see something about your program in more places, they will come to trust that it is real and reliable.

Revisiting Timeless Topics

When you have a great message, when you have information that you really want people to ‘get’, repeat it! Find a new and interesting way to talk about it, revisit an old topic again, but keep it in the eyes of your wealth creation affiliate website visitors. Use your blog, your website, articles, your newsletter…whatever marketing tools you have, use them to repeat your message and drive it home.

In the marketing of your affiliate website and the featured product for your affiliate program, repetition is not tedious, it’s imperative. Repeat your great information as often as possible in as many places, and watch your affiliate program income grow!

Calling Affiliate Website Visitors To Action

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

More buyers can help sales increaseSome things are critical to the rate of conversion—the number of buyers—and hence the success of your wealth creation affiliate website. One of the most important things you can do to convert affiliate website visitors into buyers is to create a call to action. Marketing research proves that just by asking your website visitors to buy (order, enter, etc.) you can increase sales by a whopping 80%. An 80% increase in sales just for typing a quick line of text!!

Creating Your Call to Action

There are many different actions you might want visitors to your affiliate website to take. Whatever that action is is what you want to base your call to action on.

Think of a call to action as directions for your affiliate program visitors. The call to action is where you tell them what you want them to do, phrased in a way that makes it personally beneficial for them to do so.

A call to action might be:

• A request to enter contact details for affiliate website registrations, newsletters, etc. (a good way to voluntarily collect email addresses and contact data that can be used for future marketing campaigns)

• Directing your visitors to order, order now, order here—to buy your wealth creation products!

• Directing your visitors to contact you directly so you can answer questions, send them product info, etc.

• Directing visitors to download a product, software, free giveaway, eBook, etc.

Essentially, anything that requires action on the part of affiliate website visitors requires a call to action. If you don’t ask and tell, don’t expect that your wealth creation website visitors will do. Do expect that website participation and orders will suffer.

Also, keep in mind that a call to action might be different on different affiliate website pages; also consider that by using a sidebar, you can place a call with an order button, etc on more pages than just the main order/action page.

How And When to Make The Call

Asking website visitors once to take an action is usually not enough. Asking several times (within reason, considering the content) will increase ordering and participation.

Also remember that there is a difference between calling to action and pushing a product down the throat of visitors; too hard a sell may turn people off. You can be subtle and polite about asking for orders and participation. Just let yourself be your guide. If you wouldn’t buy a product from your copy, chances are your affiliate website visitors won’t want to either!

Converting Sales Copy—How Long Is Too Long?

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

An internet sales copy doesn't need to be shortIt’s often said that internet sales copy needs to be short, sweet, and to the point. For many things in the internet world, this rule applies, but it does not always hold true in the case of converting internet sales copy.

Debunking The Short Sales-Copy Myth

Many internet marketers think that the same rules apply to all copywriting on the internet, across the board. They think that if articles should be short and pointed, so, too should product sales copy. But consumer response shows the opposite. They want information quickly, but they want to know as much about a product, service, and/or company as they can before they trust the product enough to buy. This is especially true when you are dealing with a complex product such as wealth creation products. (*Understanding here that the products offered by our wealth creation affiliate program are not complex, but the issue of wealth creation is, and there is a lot people need to know before they will invest in such an important product.)

Sales copy should be short for some products, but not for all. If you are selling the latest in-demand toy, there’s not a lot of need for explanation. But if you are selling a life-changing investment program, people really want to know what they are buying and why they should buy it. They want to see that you are selling a wealth creation product that you are knowledgeable about, that they will be able to manage, and that they will see results with.

Striking A Balance For Customers

It’s not hard to see why the assumption is that all internet sales copy should be brief. Visitors are busy and have short attention spans. They want the bottom line—except when they need to really research a product so that they can gain the trust in it that they need in order to feel safe in their decision to purchase.

Nevertheless, you will have visitors that are easier to convince than others. It’s easy to strike a balance for these clients by offering them a few ‘outs’ throughout your sales copy. As you talk, periodically pause and direct readers to the ordering page for your affiliate website program. This lets those who want to know more keep reading, and those who just want the goods can click a link and move on with life. Of course, for everybody, end with the ‘ask’ for the order.

Don’t be afraid to go a little longer with your affiliate website sales copy than you otherwise might. Take the opportunity to engage and educate your readers, prove your credibility, highlight your program, and repeatedly ask for the order!

Is Passive Income Passionless?

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

You can make money while you sleep with passive incomeI happened across a post on a blog last week that was pretty negative in regards to streams of passive income—specifically, affiliate programs. Apparently, the writer didn’t think that good things came of making money while you sleep.

Of course, this got my guard up a bit, but it also got my mind thinking about whether or not passive income is or has to be passionless. You see, the argument this author was enforcing was that passive income was not beneficial, and possibly not sustaining, because it lacks the opportunity for working passionately; and as we all know, if you are not passionate about a thing, it is hard to spend your life doing it.

Passive Does Not Equal Passionless

Affiliate programs are designed to be reasonably easy to run and to help you make money without having to shell out a lot, and without the requirement of being an industry expert. There is nothing in the design of an affiliate program that negates an interest or denies passion.

Passion as an affiliate comes from an interest in a program and in the products that you are selling. I would argue that affiliate programs can certainly create passion. It doesn’t matter if you are the inventor of a product or program—you can still be a believer and in love with the idea of a thing!

I take my passion in my passive affiliate work from my belief in our wealth creation products. I believe that good things happen to people who really learn to use and apply these products. More importantly, I know that this is true because I’ve seen the success! I am the success!

Passion is important to succeed in welath creationI enjoy knowing that I am helping others like me find a better life and an easier path to wealth creation. I take pride in knowing that I am helping to unveil the mysteries of wealth creation that have hindered the lives of average men and women the world over. And I am passionate about spreading the good news—and about sharing the wealth through our wealth creation affiliate websites and affiliate programs!

Passive just means easier—it does not mean without passion. I maintain today, as I always will, that there is plenty of room for passion in your work as a wealth creation affiliate, and I hope you do as I have done, and harness that passion to boost you towards great success as a wealth creation affiliate.
