More Affiliate Website Marketing Traditions

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

Care to talk a bit more about using inexpensive traditional marketing avenues to bring traffic to your wealth creation affiliate website? Today let’s talk about flyers and brochures.

Marketing Flyers And Brochures—The Good Stuff

Brochures and flyers are a great way to market an affiliate website. They have all the best elements of a successful off-line marketing tool. Flyers and brochures are:

• Portable

• Informative

• Capable of reaching offline clients and clients who haven’t thought to search for wealth creation products—they’re visible!

A short, informative brochure about your wealth creation affiliate website can put the essential program information in the hands of people around you so that you can start conversations and get them to your affiliate program site.

Simplicity In The Making

Okay, so you’re sold on the idea, but maybe you’re one who hasn’t a lot of technical expertise. You’re no graphic designer, so how can you make an effective affiliate program brochure?

Very simply, really. All you need is a basic working knowledge of your word processing program.

Word processing programs usually have templates that can be used to create brochures such as what we’re talking about here, but even if yours doesn’t, you can still create a nice brochure to market your affiliate program by using a simple copy and paste feature.

Remember the rights we gave you to your site and our online tools and resources? Exercise those rights and put your website to work for you. Even a screen shot of your website, or a print off with your contact information and web address will serve.

The most important thing to remember is to include the critical information—you don’t want to be the vague sense of an idea that prompts your potential affiliate website visitors to search, you want to be the go-to guy (or girl). Make sure that the following information is included on your brochure:

• Your affiliate website address—this is the most important! Your site will do the rest if you can get people there!

• Your website/program name

• Your contact information (whatever information you choose to divulge). This should match what is on your website.

It’s a simple thing and a small thing, but a nicely done, visibly displayed promotional brochure or flyer could really help you sell your wealth creation affiliate program offline and bring in more traffic that we all might have missed.

Are You Benefitting From Word Of Mouth?

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Benefit from word of mouthRemember how we talked about using traditional means of marketing to promote your wealth creation affiliate program? Did you read the post about telling others about your plans as a wealth creation affiliate? I hope you took those words to heart and are enjoying the advantages of both. Now, let’s combine the two to reap the reward of one of the oldest, simplest, and most trustworthy forms of traditional marketing known to marketing—word of mouth.

Capture The Power Of Word Of Mouth

Since man has been trading with one another, man has been talking about it. They’ve shared information to help themselves and help others. They’ve told people about the goods they have available and about why those people need their goods. And it worked! Commerce was built on man’s ability to use word-of-mouth to promote his products! And even still today, word of mouth stands as one of the strongest, most reliable marketing forces.

The best thing about word of mouth is that it is easy and it’s free. All you have to do is talk. Or, in the cyber-world, type, and let people know, person to person, that you have a great wealth-creation product that can help them.

Why Word Of Mouth Is So Powerful

Word of mouth is a powerful marketing source for one reason—trust. It’s really hard to know who to trust, but it’s a lot easier to trust a program that you know has netted success for someone you have come to know (even if you do not know them face-to-face). All most people need to know about a wealth creation program to really trust in it is that someone they know, or someone just like them, was able to use it and to succeed.

Word Of Mouth In The Cyber-Age

Take advantage of word of mouth in all its various forms. Tell people you know, pass out a business card with details, and talk online. Emails, forums, chats—all of these are just cyber-forms of word of mouth, and many people have taken to checking out a program through one of these avenues that they deem more trustworthy than a faceless affiliate website.

Get to know those close to you—online and off—and harness the marketing power of word of mouth for your affiliate website, too.

Is Your Affiliate Website Your Best-Kept Secret?

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

Talk face to face with peopleI hope that your wealth creation affiliate website is not a secret that you’ve been keeping. I hope you are telling everyone you can think of about not only your affiliate website, but also the wonderful product that you believe so much in that you’ve chosen to invest in this affiliate program!

And now, I’ll tell you why I think you need to…

Tell Someone About Your Wealth Creation Affiliate Website

There are a lot of reasons that you should be telling people about your affiliate website. And I don’t just mean getting the word out on the web—I mean actually, physically speaking and talking to another human being in your life. Here’s why this is important:

• The gravity of reality
For some reason, as humans we believe that we are doing something if we hear ourselves talk about it. Ever hear someone sneer that if you say something enough, you’ll start to believe it? Well, there is some truth to that statement. Tell someone about your affiliate website so that it is real to you.

• Commitment to success
None of us like to fail in the eyes of others. When you tell someone you are going to find success as a wealth creation affiliate, you better your chances of doing so because now you have the added motivation of proving yourself right! Letting those close to you know what you’ve been up to serves as a commitment to succeed.

• Building a support system
I hope your family and friends have the faith in you that you deserve. Engage those who are most supportive of your endeavors in your efforts as a wealth creation affiliate so that you have a place to turn when you start to doubt your success.

• Networking and sharing financial success
You believe in this product, you believe people should buy it and become wealthy. I hope you believe that those you care for should, too! Don’t be stingy—share the wealth! Tell people around you about your wealth creation website so that they can make money, create wealth, and build a secure financial future of their own!

So there are four good reasons to speak up about your affiliate website and participation in this affiliate program….can you add more?

Come on, let others in on the good stuff, get support, and commit to your investment—tell someone about your wealth creation affiliate program today! Live in fear of success and failure no longer!

Is Passive Income Passionless?

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

Passive income does not have to be passionlessI happened across a post on a blog last week that was pretty negative in regards to streams of passive income—specifically, affiliate programs. Apparently, the writer didn’t think that good things came of making money while you sleep.

Of course, this got my guard up a bit, but it also got my mind thinking about whether or not passive income is or has to be passionless. You see, the argument this author was enforcing was that passive income was not beneficial, and possibly not sustaining, because it lacks the opportunity for working passionately; and as we all know, if you are not passionate about a thing, it is hard to spend your life doing it.

Passive Does Not Equal Passionless

Affiliate programs are designed to be reasonably easy to run and to help you make money without having to shell out a lot, and without the requirement of being an industry expert. There is nothing in the design of an affiliate program that negates an interest or denies passion.

Passion as an affiliate comes from an interest in a program and in the products that you are selling. I would argue that affiliate programs can certainly create passion. It doesn’t matter if you are the inventor of a product or program—you can still be a believer and in love with the idea of a thing!

I take my passion in my passive affiliate work from my belief in our wealth creation products. I believe that good things happen to people who really learn to use and apply these products. More importantly, I know that this is true because I’ve seen the success! I am the success!

I enjoy knowing that I am helping others like me find a better life and an easier path to wealth creation. I take pride in knowing that I am helping to unveil the mysteries of wealth creation that have hindered the lives of average men and women the world over. And I am passionate about spreading the good news—and about sharing the wealth through our wealth creation affiliate websites and affiliate programs!

Passive just means easier—it does not mean without passion. I maintain today, as I always will, that there is plenty of room for passion in your work as a wealth creation affiliate, and I hope you do as I have done, and harness that passion to boost you towards great success as a wealth creation affiliate.

Tips For Writing Web Articles For Affiliate Programs

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

Now that you’ve got a start on what to write about, let’s talk about how to write for the web. This will ensure that the articles you write for your affiliate website will be well received, appreciated, and read!

The Basics Of Writing Affiliate Articles For The Web

Tips you can use to write web articlesThe good thing about writing for internet viewing is that it is more informal and less complex than writing for print media. Readers enjoy reading articles that are concise, to the point, and more conversational in tone. Don’t let your lack of writing experience deter you from packing your affiliate website with related content; I assure you that as long as it is readable and reasonably well-written, it will do a lot for your wealth creation affiliate program.

With that in mind, try to follow these basics of writing for the web.

• Write a great headline; the best article may never be read if the headline doesn’t grab the eye of readers.

• Limit length; 400 to 500 words is about right, unless you really need more to say more (and the topic is of enough interest)

• Make it easy on the eyes. Endless paragraphs are hard on the eyes when read on the internet. Break up the black with white space by using subheadlines, lists, and bullet points.

• Use subheadlines; subheadlines break up the black, but they also help make your article scannable and search-engine friendly.

• Use keywords and phrases; keywords and keyphrases will help your audience find you.

• Make it scannable; web readers often will not commit the time to thoroughly reading an entire article. Use subheads and bullet points to make it easy for readers to scan your articles and still learn. If the scanned article warrants it, it will often get the read (or the print for later reading).

Above all, make your wealth creation affiliate articles clean! You are putting these out to the web to act as your face-forward. These are the first introduction many people will have to you and to your wealth creation affiliate program. Don’t sell yourself short by putting out error-riddled articles.

Here’s to big traffic returns with your website affiliate articles!
