More Affiliate Website Marketing Tools: Your Website

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

Maybe you already have a website for personal or business use, and maybe you don’t. With an outside website, you increase the visibility of your dedicated wealth creation affiliate website even more.

Using Your Website For Affiliate Promotion

An outside website can very easily be used to market your wealth creation affiliate website. In short time, you can use the traffic that you’ve already brought into your personal or business website to promote your affiliate program, too.

affiliateIt’s a simple matter to add a bit to an outside website about the wealth creation product you are offering, offer up links to the products (which of course are yours that go to your wealth creation affiliate website) and let your affiliate website take it from there. You can do this as a feature on a main page, in a column on a sidebar, or in a page of links. You can also include your link in the signature line of emails that are generated from your outside website.

What If You Don’t Have Another Website?

If you don’t have an outside website yet, consider getting one. You can use it for anything—make a personal website, a hobby site, or a secondary wealth creation website where you post on your own about wealth creation and link to your wealth creation affiliate website.

Contrary to what you may be thinking, it is not hard or expensive to have a website. You can get a website for free sometimes from your internet service provider, or you purchase one for a few dollars a month. Many website hosting services also offer templates and build-your-own software, so you can even build a secondary wealth creation website even if you know nothing about coding, website design, or programming.

This is another great way for you to increase your exposure on the web and build inbound links to your wealth creation seller site. Have fun with it, and add this affiliate marketing technique to your affiliate program portfolio.

Tips For Writing Web Articles For Affiliate Programs

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

Now that you’ve got a start on what to write about, let’s talk about how to write for the web. This will ensure that the articles you write for your affiliate website will be well received, appreciated, and read!

The Basics Of Writing Affiliate Articles For The Web

Tips you can use to write web articlesThe good thing about writing for internet viewing is that it is more informal and less complex than writing for print media. Readers enjoy reading articles that are concise, to the point, and more conversational in tone. Don’t let your lack of writing experience deter you from packing your affiliate website with related content; I assure you that as long as it is readable and reasonably well-written, it will do a lot for your wealth creation affiliate program.

With that in mind, try to follow these basics of writing for the web.

• Write a great headline; the best article may never be read if the headline doesn’t grab the eye of readers.

• Limit length; 400 to 500 words is about right, unless you really need more to say more (and the topic is of enough interest)

• Make it easy on the eyes. Endless paragraphs are hard on the eyes when read on the internet. Break up the black with white space by using subheadlines, lists, and bullet points.

• Use subheadlines; subheadlines break up the black, but they also help make your article scannable and search-engine friendly.

• Use keywords and phrases; keywords and keyphrases will help your audience find you.

• Make it scannable; web readers often will not commit the time to thoroughly reading an entire article. Use subheads and bullet points to make it easy for readers to scan your articles and still learn. If the scanned article warrants it, it will often get the read (or the print for later reading).

Above all, make your wealth creation affiliate articles clean! You are putting these out to the web to act as your face-forward. These are the first introduction many people will have to you and to your wealth creation affiliate program. Don’t sell yourself short by putting out error-riddled articles.

Here’s to big traffic returns with your website affiliate articles!

Converting Sales Copy—How Long Is Too Long?

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

An internet sales copy doesn't need to be shortIt’s often said that internet sales copy needs to be short, sweet, and to the point. For many things in the internet world, this rule applies, but it does not always hold true in the case of converting internet sales copy.

Debunking The Short Sales-Copy Myth

Many internet marketers think that the same rules apply to all copywriting on the internet, across the board. They think that if articles should be short and pointed, so, too should product sales copy. But consumer response shows the opposite. They want information quickly, but they want to know as much about a product, service, and/or company as they can before they trust the product enough to buy. This is especially true when you are dealing with a complex product such as wealth creation products. (*Understanding here that the products offered by our wealth creation affiliate program are not complex, but the issue of wealth creation is, and there is a lot people need to know before they will invest in such an important product.)

Sales copy should be short for some products, but not for all. If you are selling the latest in-demand toy, there’s not a lot of need for explanation. But if you are selling a life-changing investment program, people really want to know what they are buying and why they should buy it. They want to see that you are selling a wealth creation product that you are knowledgeable about, that they will be able to manage, and that they will see results with.

Striking A Balance For Customers

It’s not hard to see why the assumption is that all internet sales copy should be brief. Visitors are busy and have short attention spans. They want the bottom line—except when they need to really research a product so that they can gain the trust in it that they need in order to feel safe in their decision to purchase.

Nevertheless, you will have visitors that are easier to convince than others. It’s easy to strike a balance for these clients by offering them a few ‘outs’ throughout your sales copy. As you talk, periodically pause and direct readers to the ordering page for your affiliate website program. This lets those who want to know more keep reading, and those who just want the goods can click a link and move on with life. Of course, for everybody, end with the ‘ask’ for the order.

Don’t be afraid to go a little longer with your affiliate website sales copy than you otherwise might. Take the opportunity to engage and educate your readers, prove your credibility, highlight your program, and repeatedly ask for the order!

Is Passive Income Passionless?

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

You can make money while you sleep with passive incomeI happened across a post on a blog last week that was pretty negative in regards to streams of passive income—specifically, affiliate programs. Apparently, the writer didn’t think that good things came of making money while you sleep.

Of course, this got my guard up a bit, but it also got my mind thinking about whether or not passive income is or has to be passionless. You see, the argument this author was enforcing was that passive income was not beneficial, and possibly not sustaining, because it lacks the opportunity for working passionately; and as we all know, if you are not passionate about a thing, it is hard to spend your life doing it.

Passive Does Not Equal Passionless

Affiliate programs are designed to be reasonably easy to run and to help you make money without having to shell out a lot, and without the requirement of being an industry expert. There is nothing in the design of an affiliate program that negates an interest or denies passion.

Passion as an affiliate comes from an interest in a program and in the products that you are selling. I would argue that affiliate programs can certainly create passion. It doesn’t matter if you are the inventor of a product or program—you can still be a believer and in love with the idea of a thing!

I take my passion in my passive affiliate work from my belief in our wealth creation products. I believe that good things happen to people who really learn to use and apply these products. More importantly, I know that this is true because I’ve seen the success! I am the success!

Passion is important to succeed in welath creationI enjoy knowing that I am helping others like me find a better life and an easier path to wealth creation. I take pride in knowing that I am helping to unveil the mysteries of wealth creation that have hindered the lives of average men and women the world over. And I am passionate about spreading the good news—and about sharing the wealth through our wealth creation affiliate websites and affiliate programs!

Passive just means easier—it does not mean without passion. I maintain today, as I always will, that there is plenty of room for passion in your work as a wealth creation affiliate, and I hope you do as I have done, and harness that passion to boost you towards great success as a wealth creation affiliate.
