What’s Your Role As Wealth Creation Affiliate?

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

I wonder from time to time if we’ve been clear about what your role as a wealth creation affiliate is. Well, it’s a varied role that is part marketing, part business partner, and part entrepreneur. All in all, your primary job-focus, though, comes down to one thing: pre-selling.

Where Your Affiliate Efforts Fit It

You are an affiliate for two reasons:

1. You want to make money through a passive stream of income
2. You believe in the product you are backing

And I guess these two really equate to a third reason:

3. You want to see others succeed in wealth creation

While achieving these goals, you also help our wealth creation program and our wealth creation affiliate program succeed, and that helps us help others too.

Before I digress to far, let’s get back to how your efforts help all of us achieve all of these goals.

LinkAs a wealth creation affiliate, you are our first-line of selling. You are reaching people that apparently we have not been able to reach before through our marketing avenues. You may have a better sense of what your particular customers want, you may have access to a niche market that we haven’t considered or successfully tapped, or you might be reaching locals that haven’t thought to look up wealth creation.

However you are reaching your audience, you are reaching them if they are at your website, reading your articles, or visiting your blog. As their first introduction to wealth creation, you become the first line of sales.

This serves to define your role as a wealth creation affiliate. Your job when you reach people is to pre-sell the featured product to them. Anything you do on your own (on a personal web space, blog, etc…) warms your customer up so that they will be receptive to learning more about your product when they get to your wealth creation affiliate website.

And This Means

I bring this to light to help you understand what your function is. You are more than a link to an affiliate website, you are a marketing agent. The more active an agent you are, the better your pre-selling will be and the more success your wealth creation affiliate program will enjoy. I hope this helps so that you can efficiently target your efforts as a wealth creation affiliate!

Traditional Marketing Series: Sales Letter Affiliate Program Promotion

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

Expanding a bit more on traditional marketing avenues that you can use to promote your wealth creation affiliate website, here’s a bit on using sales letters for affiliate website promotion.

The Sales Letter—What Is It?

sales letterA sales letter is just what it sounds like it is. It is a letter that you write to a targeted person or wider audience that details your wealth creation product and is sent out to the world to gain exposure for this great product. A sales letter should be in letter form, complete with the “Dear Addressee” so that recipients feel they are being personally spoken to, and beyond that, the body and content are up to you.

How Can I Use A Sales Letter For My Affiliate Website?

The sales letter technique has been adopted by websites as a foundation for business on and offline. You can use a well-crafted sales letter in many ways to supplement the information that is already formulated into your wealth creation affiliate website.

The most traditional use of the sales letter is to send the letter out in a physical mailing—yes, I mean snail-mail. This can help you reach people that don’t go online much, don’t think to search for our terms, those who live in your local area, or people you want to make sure know about your wealth creation affiliate website and wealth creation program (such as friends, family, and acquaintances whose financial health matters to you).

Formatting a sales letterThis traditional technique has been adopted and formatted for use online, too. The homepage and content of many websites are really just sales-letters. You can do this, too, by posting the sales letter you write on another website, a free or inexpensive website. Make sure you include your live affiliate links to your official wealth creation affiliate website and/or the parent website (so that you get the traffic and the credit [= $$$$]).

A sales letter is another way that you can spread the word further about your wealth creation affiliate program. Embrace it, use it, and watch your affiliate bottom line grow as you expand your outreach further and further!

Reverse The Cycle Of Regret

Friday, July 11th, 2008

Don’t end this year as you’ve ended years in the past—in a cycle of regret for financial opportunities lost. This year, use your wealth creation affiliate program to reverse the cycle of regret so that 2009 comes in on a high note.

Your Inaction = Your Regret Next Year

The New Year is the time of year we all start thinking about the great things we can do. Now, a few weeks into it, we start to think about all the failures of our past—most of which are nothing more than our reluctance to act—and start to regret the things we failed to do last year. This year, put a stop to the New Year cycle of regret.

make moneyAction now, a positive step in the right direction for wealth creation, will set you on a path to success in the coming year. You, as a participant in this wealth creation affiliate program, are in a prime place for ending the cycle of regret in the New Year. You have all the tools right before you—right here under your fingertips, really—to make money online, learn from a superior wealth creation program, and achieve financial success this year.

Your Ambitions

Inevitably, your ambition will have a low day. You might wake up wondering if you are really up for this, and if you can really join the upper echelon of affiliates who are bringing in the big paychecks through this wealth creation program (which, of course, you can if you put in the effort). These are the days you have to watch out for, because these are the days that eventually result in inactivity, minimal returns, and all-around regret.

build wealthVery simply, to reverse regret for next year you have to start acting now, and keep acting throughout the year. You have to do the work to set yourself up for success as a wealth creation affiliate, and you have to stop missing out on excellent opportunities to make money, build wealth, and live freer. Do something today that will continue tomorrow and on into the next day. Do something that helps you earn that passive income that will follow. Do something! And next year, Do Not regret what you didn’t do but could have!

Converting Affiliate Website Visitors: Losses And Gains

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

Help the reader to potentially make a buyerProbably the most important aspect of writing converting sales copy for your wealth creation affiliate website is showing the reader how you can help them.If you focus all of your affiliate website copy around this one central theme, you will do well in converting visitors into buyers. Why? Because people are self-centered (and I do not necessarily mean that in a negative way).

The people who are researching wealth creation are doing it for one primary reason—to create wealth and build a more secure financial future. The reason these people are coming to your site is to find a solution to their financial problems. There’s nothing bad about that; in fact, your visitors should be commended for their foresight and ambition. Knowing this, though, gives you the ideal starting point to write from to create compelling, converting sales literature (either on your wealth creation affiliate website, your blog, articles and essays…).

Benefit Focused Converting Copy

You might be tempted to write about all the excellent features of the wealth creation products you are selling. You might think that these products should virtually sell themselves if you can just list everything included in a given product. For a select few visitors, that might work; but for the majority, that angle will not be effective.

Wealth creation affiliate website visitors want to know one thing—what will your products do for me? How will your products improve their lives? How will they be better off personally for having bought into your affiliate program?

In short, visitors want you to offer them a solution to their financial problems. Your solution will be the wealth creation products offered through your wealth creation affiliate program. But you want to present those solutions in a way that is personally self-serving for your affiliate website visitors. You want to

• Emphasize product benefits (not product features—benefits are personal to the reader, features are aspects of the product)

• Solve the problems plaguing your visitors

• Help your visitors rather than sell your visitors

• Present the financial problems facing your affiliate site visitors, then present the solution to their problems (wealth creation products)

One powerful way to accomplish this is by showing losses and gains. In other words, show affiliate website visitors what they have to lose by not purchasing wealth creation products, and then drive home the gain and show how much better their lives will be if they do.

Fortunately, the products offered through our wealth creation affiliate program are ideally suited to this end—because personal gain is exactly what they were designed for! All of our wealth creation affiliate products were designed to benefit our clients; all you have to do is let your affiliate website visitors see that, and show them how you can help them help themselves.

Converting Sales Copy—How Long Is Too Long?

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

An internet sales copy doesn't need to be shortIt’s often said that internet sales copy needs to be short, sweet, and to the point. For many things in the internet world, this rule applies, but it does not always hold true in the case of converting internet sales copy.

Debunking The Short Sales-Copy Myth

Many internet marketers think that the same rules apply to all copywriting on the internet, across the board. They think that if articles should be short and pointed, so, too should product sales copy. But consumer response shows the opposite. They want information quickly, but they want to know as much about a product, service, and/or company as they can before they trust the product enough to buy. This is especially true when you are dealing with a complex product such as wealth creation products. (*Understanding here that the products offered by our wealth creation affiliate program are not complex, but the issue of wealth creation is, and there is a lot people need to know before they will invest in such an important product.)

Sales copy should be short for some products, but not for all. If you are selling the latest in-demand toy, there’s not a lot of need for explanation. But if you are selling a life-changing investment program, people really want to know what they are buying and why they should buy it. They want to see that you are selling a wealth creation product that you are knowledgeable about, that they will be able to manage, and that they will see results with.

Striking A Balance For Customers

It’s not hard to see why the assumption is that all internet sales copy should be brief. Visitors are busy and have short attention spans. They want the bottom line—except when they need to really research a product so that they can gain the trust in it that they need in order to feel safe in their decision to purchase.

Nevertheless, you will have visitors that are easier to convince than others. It’s easy to strike a balance for these clients by offering them a few ‘outs’ throughout your sales copy. As you talk, periodically pause and direct readers to the ordering page for your affiliate website program. This lets those who want to know more keep reading, and those who just want the goods can click a link and move on with life. Of course, for everybody, end with the ‘ask’ for the order.

Don’t be afraid to go a little longer with your affiliate website sales copy than you otherwise might. Take the opportunity to engage and educate your readers, prove your credibility, highlight your program, and repeatedly ask for the order!
